About KOURASANIT

KOURASANIT is a natural, sustainable microcement plaster that provides a superior surface look and feel in both interior and exterior spaces.

Made from natural products and by traditional processes, this Roman mortar combines aggregates, lava and hydrated lime, making it highly durable and chemical free. This material will stand the test of time – just as it did when used in construction during the Roman and Byzantine periods.

The natural materials used ensure that KOURASANIT has minimal environmental impact – and the packaging is recyclable too!

Being water resistant, KOURASANIT is an ideal surface for floors, walls and ceilings. Its smooth finish and various colour possibilities and designs mean that it is a highly versatile option for high-end commercial and home projects. You can create truly unique and beautiful spaces.

There are four product lines in the KOURASANIT range:

• Filler coating
• Traditional polished mortar

The KOURASANIT material is applied using a trowel or brush depending on the desired effect and the application layer is a total thickness of 1.5 – 4mm
